Two weeks in Italy
Wednesday, June 10th
We spent the day following dogs around the city—we actually trailed a woman with a cute wiener dog for a while, and that set the tone for our walking. We kept making route decisions based on spotting other dogs, letting them guide us through the streets. We looked around various shops as we wandered, and then had a wonderful dinner at a restaurant in a big circular square full of other restaurants. We're not entirely sure what the square is called, but we'll figure that out.
We slept in to try and shake off the jet lag, then set out for a long wander around town, stopping in at some shops along the way. We grabbed espresso and afterward ate pasta and burrata for lunch. We walked a section of the wall around Lucca before heading back to the Airbnb for an afternoon siesta.
